Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Mansoura University, Egypt, and Managing Editor of the Mansoura Journal for Computer and Information Sciences.
He received his B.Sc. (2004), M.Sc. (2008) and Ph.D. (2011) in Information Systems from Mansoura University. He joined the Information Systems Department as a Teaching Assistant in 2005, became an Assistant Lecturer in 2008 and a Lecturer in 2012, and has been an Associate Professor since 2019. From 2015 to 2017 he was seconded to Zulfi University, Saudi Arabia, as Associate Professor of Information Systems in its Computer Science Department.
He has been Managing Editor of the Mansoura Journal for Computer and Information Sciences (MJCIS) since 24 September 2026, after serving on its editorial board from April 2023. He was a technical editor and reviewer for Advances in Information Sciences and Service Sciences (AISS) from 2009 to 2013, and earlier served on the IT editorial board of MERLOT as an educational reviewer.
His research spans enterprise integration, service-oriented architecture, e-learning and intelligent systems. His recent work addresses data quality and data cleaning in mobile edge computing, published in IEEE Access (2026), Scientific Reports (2025) and the Journal of Big Data (2025). He is an EMC Featured Proven Professional (2015) and won the Global Final Grand Prize, Cloud Track, of the Huawei ICT Competition 2019–2020.
Alongside his academic work he studies the Islamic sciences. He attended the lessons of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Abdelrahman al-Naqeeb, Shaykh Mustafa al-Adawi, Shaykh Abu Hafs Sami ibn al-Arabi and others; completed studies at Zad Academy and the core track of Tafsir Academy; is in the second year at Murtaqa Academy for Islamic Sciences; and is in the final stage of a Hanbali fiqh qualification program. 403 of his articles are available in English on this site.
